ELMER MONEY, CITY COUNCIL AT-LARGE
Thank you for taking the time to visit this site.
In order to move in a positive direction, ordinary people who are enthusiastic and dedicated in their commitment must step forward as candidates and grasp the leadership mantle from a stagnate legislative body. Being an elected official should be a service, not a career.
In this spirit, I am running for City Council At-Large as a Republican.
This election represents an opportunity for you, as a voter, to be able to choose a candidate that meets your expectations rather than being left unsatisfied by historical limits in choice. With your help, together we can end those career politician’s who consider their own self-interests or the interest of the well-connected few more important than serving you.
The opportunity to represent the many diverse communities of Philadelphia as an elected Republican representative matches well with my educational background and professional goals.
I have received my Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration from Saint Joseph’s University and a Masters in Business Administration, concentrating in Health Care Management from Holy Family University. My professional goals continue to be highlighted by my commitment and dedication to the people and neighborhoods within our great city.
I serve as a Community Board member for Philadelphia Health Center #10 and an active participant in the Morrell Park Civic Association and Town Watch. I also belong to the Christ the King Parish Men’s Association. My professional memberships include the American College of Health Care Executives and the Healthcare Leadership Network of the Delaware Valley. I support the causes fought by the Womancare (formerly the Maternity Care Advocates of Philadelphia), and those working to provide solutions in medical care access for all residents of our city.
I believe it is of utmost importance to revitalize access to inpatient, emergency and maternity care as principle agents in creating a family based infrastructure of community, employment, education and wellness.
The new generation of Republican candidates seeking to provide fresh voices and ideas need your help, support and encouragement in order to promote a beneficial city-wide progressive agenda. For your convenience, I have included within the above tab titled “Republicans of interest” a link to candidates web-sites who I believe will provide you viable alternatives in providing solutions to the problems that plague our city.
I look forward to the unique challenge and responsibility in representing you and all members of our great city in the opportunity to participate in proactively evaluating services and projects that will provide a positive impact on all of our communities.
Once again, thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss how we together can participate in improving your expectation of excellence within the city of Philadelphia.
